Global GS1 Healthcare Conferences
The global, healthcare user group meets three times per year in the different regions worldwide. These conferences provide a unique platform for your key local healthcare stakeholders to meet, network and benchmark with other experts from all over the world, and have proven to be an effective catalyst to advance GS1 Standards in healthcare in a number of countries. Typically, about 250 stakeholders from over 25 countries join the conference, including representatives from suppliers, wholesalers, distributors, providers, regulatory bodies, associations and GS1 Member Organisations representing their local community.
The plenary sessions usually feature about 20 renowned speakers presenting the latest on regulatory and industry developments related to automatic identification, product catalogues and traceability. The working groups also convene to present and discuss the current status of standards development.
So far, we’ve held 15 global conferences, 6 in North-America, 7 in Europe, and 2 in Asia-Pacific. This has only been possible thanks to the support of the MOs hosting the conference. You can view the presentations of all plenary sessions. Moreover, you can “re-live” the plenary sessions of the last two conferences in Hong Kong and Washington DC.
